I. Experiment Box Core Construction

This experiment box is a comprehensive experimental kit designed specifically for the research and teaching of intelligent networked vehicle technology. It meticulously integrates millimeter-wave radar sensor modules to form a fully functional module, enabling in-depth experiments and training on the core sensing technologies of intelligent networked vehicles.

I. Detailed Parameters of Millimeter-wave Radar

· Operating Frequency Range: 76GHz to 77GHz, suitable for high-precision measurements.

· Detection Distance Range: From a minimum of 0.2 meters to a maximum of 250 meters, covering a wide range of application scenarios.

· Distance Measurement Resolution: The error is within ±1.79 meters at long distances and within ±0.39 meters at short distances, ensuring accurate identification of targets both near and far.

· Distance Measurement Accuracy: The accuracy reaches ±0.40 meters at long distances and ±0.10 meters at short distances, providing reliable distance information.

· Angular Range: Up to 120°, for capturing a broader lateral field of view.

· Speed Range: Capable of detecting targets moving at speeds from -400 km/h to +200 km/h, regardless of whether the target is moving away or towards.

· Speed Resolution: 0.37 km/h for long-distance targets and 0.43 km/h for short-distance targets, ensuring the capture of subtle speed changes.

· Speed Accuracy: Achieves ±0.1 km/h, ensuring high-precision speed measurements.

· Target Detection Types: Capable of recognizing targets moving away, approaching, stationary, crossing stationary targets, and crossing targets, adapting to varied traffic environments.

· Data Output: Outputs via CAN/CANFD interface, providing key information including tracking target ID, distance, speed, RCS (Radar Cross Section).

· Operating Temperature: Stable operation within a temperature range of -40to 85, adapting to extreme climates.

· Target Recognition: Capable of accurately identifying and differentiating between static and dynamic obstacles, displaying real-time data on the distance, speed, and position of targets.

· Parameter Calibration: Users can set and calibrate the x, y coordinates of the millimeter-wave radar to adjust detection parameters. The experiment box can also display the calibrated millimeter-wave radar detection image, facilitating the observation of obstacle position changes relative to the origin.

· ROI Settings: Detection results can be optimized by setting Regions of Interest (ROI), focusing on obstacle detection and filtering within key areas.
