I. Training Stand Overview
The millimeter-wave radar training stand is specially designed for teaching and training in intelligent networked vehicle technology. It is equipped with a high-frequency millimeter-wave radar, positioned at the back of the stand, and aimed at a moving rail with a car model. This setup allows students to visually learn and experiment with the working state and principles of millimeter-wave radar, gaining a deep understanding of its operational characteristics, installation methods, and software-hardware interfaces. The stand incorporates visualization software, facilitating the installation, setting, marking operations, as well as training on distance measurement and target detection functions of the radar.

o Speed Resolution and Accuracy: 0.37km/h and 0.43km/h respectively, accuracy of ±0.1 km/h.
o Target Types: Includes targets moving away, approaching, stationary, crossing stationary, and crossing.
o Data Output: CAN/CANFD interface, output includes target ID, distance, speed, RCS, etc.
o Operating Conditions: Temperature range -40℃ to 85℃, voltage 9-16V, IP67 protection level.
· Display and Host:
o Display: 22 inches, resolution 1920×1080, providing clear visual output.
o Host: Equipped with Intel CPU, 8GB memory, and 128GB hard drive, ensuring high-performance system operation.
II. Equipment Functionality
· Interactive Interface: User-friendly operation interface, supporting real-time radar parameter adjustment and debugging.
· Target Detection: Accurately identifies static and dynamic obstacles, displaying detailed target data.
· Advanced Positioning and Detection Functionality of the Millimeter-Wave Radar Training Stand:
o Precise Coordinate Calibration: The training stand offers an advanced coordinate calibration system, allowing students to set the exact position coordinates (x, y) of the millimeter-wave radar. This feature is crucial for understanding how radar is positioned in actual automotive systems, as accurate coordinate data directly affects radar detection results.
o Real-Time Image Display: Calibrated millimeter-wave radar detection images are displayed in real-time on the stand's monitor, providing instant visual feedback. When modifying the x and y coordinate values, students can directly observe changes in the position of obstacles in the radar image relative to the coordinate origin. This intuitive visual display helps students understand the relationship between radar data and physical space.
o ROI Functionality Optimization: The stand is equipped with a Region of Interest (ROI) function, allowing students to define and adjust the radar's scanning area. By specifying a particular detection area, unnecessary data can be filtered out, focusing on processing information critical to safety or navigation. This feature is a key technology in intelligent driving systems for enhancing target detection and reducing false alarms.
